During a meeting with the “On My Responsibility” program, Muhammad Abdel-Aty said, responding to the issue of Arab countries financing the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam: “The answer is not for me. in Egypt”.

Abdel-Aty pointed out that “there is one challenge he faces as a minister, which is providing water to all people and uses in the right quantity and timing, in addition to setting all policies and strategies and implementing various projects,” stressing that “President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi knows all the details of the water file.”

He added, “The president says we do not want to buy a water point on the land of Egypt that we will not reuse, no matter the cost.”
