Today, Thursday, Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal, who won 20 titles in the four Grand Slam tournaments, refused to set a timetable for returning to the courts, stressing that he would not return until he was completely ready.

Nadal has not participated in the tournaments since the beginning of last August, when he lost to Lloyd Harris in the third round of the City Open, before withdrawing from the US Open due to a foot injury.

Nadal, 35, withdrew from Wimbledon in June and then withdrew from the Tokyo Olympics after losing to Novak Djokovic in the French Open semi-finals.

And it was confirmed that Nadal will continue to be absent until the end of the season, but he is training in Mallorca, after undergoing treatment last month in Barcelona.

“I want to recover well from this injury,” Nadal told a news conference today.

“I don’t know when I will play again, I work a lot every day, I follow a specific plan accompanied by a roadmap and with very clear goals,” he added.

He pointed out, “I will not say what these goals are because there are always things that I cannot control 100%, but I have a clear idea in my mind about my goals, and I am confident that these things will be followed by a positive path.”
