Microsoft launched LinkedIn in China in 2014, with limited features designed to comply with the country’s strictest internet laws.
Microsoft said it will launch a job search site in China that does not have LinkedIn social features.
The news comes after a Chinese internet regulator told LinkedIn in March that it should better edit its content and give it 30 days to do so, the Wall Street Journal reported.
It is noteworthy that Microsoft acquired LinkedIn in 2016 for $26.2 billion. (agencies)
