Manchester Airport management announced that the police did not find any security threat there, after closing its second wing, against the background of reports of a suspicious package.

The airport administration said, in a statement carried by “Reuters” agency on Tuesday evening, that the police “are satisfied that there is no security threat and have removed the cordon they had imposed in the place” during the examination.

And the airport administration had previously reported the closure of its second wing while Manchester Police were examining reports of a suspicious package there.

The airport administration stated that all flights were operated during the accident from the first wing, noting that the police were carrying out an organized evacuation process in the second wing.
