The Saudi Ministry of Culture inaugurated the exhibition of the International Biennale of the South for Contemporary Art (Binalsur), under the title “Echoes: A World Between Analog and Analog”, with the participation of Saudi and international artists.
The biennial exhibition, which opened yesterday in Jax neighborhood in Diriyah, deals with themes of environmental awareness, ways of living, artistic politics, migrations and transforming formations under the supervision of curator Diana Schiller from Argentina.
The biennale, which will move to Jeddah starting on November 30, includes more than 30 works by artists from different nationalities of the world. The works are divided into four themes: “In Space… Against Time”, “Towards Nature and the Unexpected” and “In Lights”. and shadows” and “in the human condition”.
