The Islamic State group claimed an improvised explosive device attack on a bar in the Ugandan capital Kampala on Saturday, killing at least one person.

In a statement posted on its channel via the Telegram app, the organization said that a group affiliated with it detonated the explosive device in a bar where “elements and spies of the Crusader Ugandan government” were meeting in Kampala.
