The price of a gram of 21 karat gold (the most traded in the market) also rose to about 73,826 thousand dinars ($50.57).
While the price of a gram of 18 karat gold in Iraq was about 63,279 thousand dinars ($43.34).
As for economic gold, the price of a gram of 14 karat gold scored about 49,216 thousand dinars ($ 33.71).

The price of an ounce of gold in Iraq jumped during today’s trading, to about 2.623 million dinars (1797 dollars), compared to about 2.604 million dinars (1784 dollars), yesterday.
The price of the gold pound in the Iraqi market also increased today, to about 590,605 thousand dinars (404.52 dollars), compared to about 586,289 thousand dinars (401.53 dollars).

Gold prices jumped on Thursday, to their highest level in nearly a month, supported by the decline in the dollar and US Treasury yields. This comes as investors assess whether the Federal Reserve will tighten monetary policy at the expected early time.
And gold rose in spot transactions, by 0.3% to $ 1797.27 an ounce (an ounce) by 09:20 GMT, after hitting its highest level since last September 15 at $ 1797.31.
While US gold futures rose 0.2% to $ 1797.90.
Today, the dollar index and the benchmark 10-year US Treasury bond yields fell.
Independent analyst Ross Norman described the rise in gold as “constructive” but said it should break the technical resistance levels at $1800 and $1,835 before any other big move up.
