The door to an unusual job has been opened in the UK, where Platinum Casino has published an advertisement for a search for someone who will analyze all seasons of the animated series The Simpsons.

The site wrote: “It is no secret that the creators of The Simpsons were able to mysteriously predict the future several times, such as the results of presidential elections and epidemics, so the site’s management decided to hire a group of people to study this phenomenon experimentally.”

The analyst’s responsibilities will include reviewing all episodes from all parts, then reporting on important social and political moments that may predict future events.

Social media users dubbed the vacancy a “dream job”.It should be noted that any adult residing in any country can apply for the job.

The applicant must be fluent in English and have strong analytical skills, at the same time, it is desirable that the candidate be well-versed in the nature of the series and be a fan of it.

The successful applicant is given an eight-week contract, during which time the employee has to watch 284 episodes, during which he has to spend about 36 hours a week watching the cartoon.

The £5,000 (about €6,000) fee will be paid for via mandatory Disney Plus and Wi-Fi subscriptions, as well as “company-sponsored gifts”.

The Simpsons have been known for their “prophecies” for a long time. For example, in an episode released in 1993, viewers noticed a headline indicating the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The scene of the storming of the Capitol was shown in a 1996 episode, and was repeated in real life in January 2021, when supporters of President Donald Trump tried to attack the US Congress.
