FIFA announces the date of the draw for the 2022 World Cup


The International Football Association Board (FIFA) has officially announced the date of the draw for the World Cup in Qatar 2022.

The Federation Council said, in a statement, that the draw will be held in Doha on March 31 of next year, with a large ceremony that will be one of the most prominent stations in reaching the date of the global finals, which will be held for the first time with Arab hospitality and in the Middle East region.

It is expected that the identity of the teams participating in the global wedding will be known after the end of the qualifying stages in various continents, including Germany and Denmark, which guaranteed direct qualification for Europe during the October round, to join the host Qatar team.

32 teams will participate in the finals; They are: Qatar, the host, 13 teams from Europe, 4 from South America (the fifth is in the international play-off), 5 from the African continent, 3 from the North American continent “CONCACAF” (and the fourth is running in the international play-off), and 4 teams from the Asian continent ( And the fifth is competing in the world play-off), and the champion of the Oceania continent and is in the world play-off match.
