Top scorer Marcelo Moreno believes that his country will seek to win the next three matches in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador, Peru and Paraguay.
Top scorer Marcelo Moreno said that his country will seek to win the next three matches in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador, Peru and Paraguay.
Bolivia will play its host Ecuador next Thursday evening, then will host Peru on October 10 in La Paz, before also hosting Paraguay four days later.
“The next three rounds will decide everything for Bolivia,” Moreno, 34, said during a press conference. “We want to win all these matches.”
The player known as “The Matador” added that these three matches are “difficult and in front of competitors who also need to win and collect points,” but he stressed that he and his teammates are preparing “very well as a group to present a big match” against Ecuador, a match whose result he described as very important for his country.
Before playing in the tenth round of qualifiers against Ecuador, Bolivia has won one match and tied in 3 matches.
