Aramco and Total launch a network of fuel distribution stations in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Aramco and France’s Total Energies inaugurated the first two service stations as part of a billion-dollar network of service and refueling stations in the Kingdom.
The two companies established in 2019 a joint project to establish a network of stations that provide high-quality fuel and service, with the expectation of the Kingdom’s prosperity in the field of real estate and infrastructure, thanks to the openness to tourism and foreign investment.”We are building a distinguished network that will enhance the experience of drivers and travelers in Saudi Arabia,” Aramco CEO Amin Nasser was quoted in a statement on Monday.

“With the Kingdom increasing tourism projects, we expect an increase in domestic travel and demand for hospitality and travel services,” he added.

The two stations were set up in Riyadh and Saihat in the east of the Kingdom.

A unit of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, ADNOC, agreed earlier this year to buy 20 fuel stations in Saudi Arabia.
