Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said that Belgian Eden Hazard should wait for his chance to enter the starting line-up, given that other players are currently outperforming him.

Hazard sat on the bench in the “El Clasico” match against Barcelona (2-1), which brought them together last Sunday, at the “Camp Nou”, at the top of the matches of the tenth round of the Spanish Football League.

“Hazard started the season suffering from injuries, and he needs some time to reach the top of his level,” Ancelotti said in the press conference devoted to the match between the royal team and its guest Osasuna on Wednesday.

He added, “He has everything to be a star at Real Madrid, but we have to wait because at the moment he has a problem, and this problem is that his coach prefers to have other players better than him.”

Ancelotti relies on the Brazilian duo Vinicius Junior (21 years) and Rodrigo (20 years), along with French Karim Benzema in the attack line.

Eden Hazard, 30, who moved to Real from Chelsea in 2019 for 120 million euros, has started five games with Real Madrid this season, but has not completed any matches.
