The “Saudi” channel said that the train line between the two countries is the widest in the Gulf Cooperation Countries, and aims to enhance economic exchange and facilitate the movement of goods and passengers between Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

It is noteworthy that the train connection between the two countries is part of a complete Gulf link, based on the recommendations of the GCC transport ministers for 2016.

Studies in 2015 indicated that more than $200 billion will be invested to build railways linking the Arab Gulf states, with a length of more than 400,000 kilometers.
