Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi grabbed the attention after scoring a superb goal during his team’s 2-1 victory over its host Gil Vicente on Friday evening in the seventh round of the Portuguese Football League.
Tarmi scored in the eighth minute of the match, after he overtook one of the opposing team’s players, and shot him from a distance.
Porto advanced with a Tarmi goal, before Gil Vicente equalized with a goal scored by Samuel Leno in the 24th minute.

The match remained suspended with a tie until Porto managed to win the game after Sergio Oliveira scored a fatal goal in the 89th minute.
Porto raised its score to 17 points to occupy the second place in the standings, with a goal difference against Sporting Lisbon.
On the other hand, Gil Vicente’s balance stopped at eight points, as it occupies eighth place.
