The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy in Qatar announced the implementation of the smart fan card system during the Arab Cup, whereby all match ticket holders are required to obtain it to enter the stadiums, and it will allow them to use public transportation for free during match days, and a smartphone application will be launched before the tournament. With the aim of enhancing the fan experience in the country.
Issuing a fan card online requires a copy of a valid passport or ID, a match ticket, as well as a confirmation number. Parents of fans under the age of 14 must apply for the card on behalf of their children. Once the issuance request is approved, the fan can head to collect it from the Doha Exhibition Center or Hamad International Airport.
In light of the current challenges posed by the “Covid-19” epidemic, the State of Qatar will apply all preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of all participants in the competitions, and attendance at the matches is required to obtain the full dose of one of the vaccines approved by the Qatari Ministry of Health, and to adhere to the travel guidelines approved in this regard. .
