The art and theater critic Nayef Al-Shammari also mourned the late, and republished one of his photos, in which he appeared wearing a wreath of roses.
The late Bassam Ghanem Al-Saleh has four sons: Hessa, Maryam, Fawaz and Issa.
Bassam had organized, at the 23rd Qurain Cultural Festival, an art exhibition that included the belongings of his late father Ghanem Al-Saleh, in cooperation with the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters.
It is noteworthy that the late Bassam accompanied his father during his treatment journey in a hospital in the British capital, London, where he died in October 2010, due to lung cancer.
The artist, Ghanem Al-Saleh, died at the age of 67, and he is considered one of the most prominent pioneers of the artistic and theatrical movement in Kuwait, and during his artistic career, which was nearly 5 decades, he was able to occupy a special place among his colleagues in Kuwait and the Gulf in general.
The artist Ghanem Al-Saleh was born in Kuwait City in 1943, and the late participated in a number of television and theatrical works, and his first theatrical participation was in the early sixties, which was the play “Saqr Quraish” with the Arab Theater Troupe, after which the theatrical works followed, including “Land and Loan”, “By Bye”. London, “Singleness”.
The late artist has a number of television works, including “My Aunt Qamsha”, “He went out and did not return”, “Diary of a retired person”, “The Big House”.
