And the website Cnet.com, which specializes in technology issues, indicated that Amazon could use robots and other types of autonomous systems in stores, although the Wall Street Journal indicated that Amazon has not finished developing plans for this development.
For his part, an Amazon spokesman declined to comment on this news. “As part of company policy, we do not comment on rumors or speculation,” he said in an email to Cnet.com.
