The pioneers of social networking sites shared videos of the artist, Solaf Fawakherji, crying in agony at the funeral of her father, amid a heavy presence of artists.

The video showed the support of Fawakherji’s husband, artist Wael Ramadan, along with her family, and sadness overtook their features during the funeral, which was held in Latakia Governorate in Damascus.

A large number of Syrian artists were keen to offer their condolences for the death of Fawakherji’s father, who passed away a few days ago.

Duraid Lahham, Amal Arafa, Abdel Moneim Amayri, Shukran Murtaja, Rasha Sharbatji, Wafa Moussalli, Rashid Assaf, Nahid Halabi, Nancy Khoury, Firas Ibrahim and Asaad Fadda, who was absent from the art scene for a long time, attended.

The artist’s audience was saddened by the spread of the clips, and some were quick to calm her down and wished her patience and solace.

It is noteworthy that the sad news was initially published by the Syndicate of Actors in Syria with a publication in which he stated: “The Damascus branch of the Artists Syndicate extends its deepest condolences to colleague artist Solaf Fawakherji on the death of her father, and we will inform you later of the dates of burial and condolences. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.”

After that, Solaf shared the sad news in a post on her Instagram page and attached it to a comment, “My soul has gone with you … and the story is finished after you.. God is with you … Papa and thank you for everything.”

The Syrian actress, Sulaf Fawakherji, sent a letter of thanks to all those who comforted her with the death of her father, film critic Muhammad Fawakherji, specifically referring to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his wife, Asma al-Assad.

And she added: “Friends of the deceased, may God prolong your life, relatives, friends, fellow artists, ministers and members of the People’s Assembly, official and personal bodies, and all lovers.
