Adviser to the Egyptian President for Preventive Health, Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, said that Egypt is moving at a good pace in vaccinating citizens with Corona vaccines in all government and private sectors.
He pointed out that the Ministries of Education and Higher Education developed a plan for all employees of the two ministries by providing vaccines directly, and during the next few weeks, large quantities of vaccines will be pumped, especially for university students, to vaccinate the largest number of employees of universities and educational directorates with the Corona vaccine.
Taj El-Din added that there is no intention to postpone the new academic year, whether for university or pre-university education, explaining that the state’s goal in cooperation with all institutions and ministries is to return life in all fields, especially the field of education, and that the Ministry of Health is making many efforts with all ministries to provide And immunizing citizens, because it has become a top priority, and by the end of this year, the largest number of people will be vaccinated.
Awad Taj El-Din pointed out that there is no tolerance in vaccinating workers and employees of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, especially that they are in contact with students throughout the academic year.
In the same context, the advisor to the president explained that health has developed all possibilities to confront the fourth wave and the resurgence of infections again, coinciding with the presence of cases infected with the “Delta Plus” mutator, which calls on everyone to adhere to precautionary and preventive measures while taking the vaccine, adding that the Ministry of Health is ready for any A scenario and that the fourth wave, despite the high number of infections, will be relative to the previous waves of the virus, but with vaccination, the difficult scenarios will decrease.
