Hana Saif Al Suwaidi, President of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority in Sharjah, revealed the visual identity of the “Sharjah Safari” project in Al Dhaid, the largest of its kind in the world outside Africa, incubating more than 120 species of living creatures living in Africa, the rarest of which is the black rhino. Hana Al Suwaidi said: “The approval of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, of the “Sharjah Safari” project, located within the Al Bardi Reserve in Al Dhaid, was the most important event in the authority’s spanning over many years of work to protect the environment, Preserving nature, and ensuring the availability of resources for future generations, as a national wealth and part of sustainable development.
She pointed out that the Sharjah safari will include 12 different environments representing the life and terrain in Africa, the animals and birds that live in it, a section for giraffes, 15 of which were released in the wild to adapt to the safari atmosphere, and a section for rhinos. . Al Suwaidi indicated that Sharjah and the UAE are on a close date with a tourist place and an unparalleled natural destination in the region. Endangered.
