Pictures.. Honoring the Paralympic heroes during a ceremony at the foot of the pyramids


The Egyptian Paralympic Committee, headed by Hayat Khattab, honored the heroes of the Committee who participated in the Olympic Games, which recently concluded in Tokyo, in a ceremony held at the foot of the pyramids.

The Egyptian mission in Tokyo won 7 medals, 5 silver and 2 bronze for “Fatima Omar, Sherif Othman, Mahmoud Sabry, Rehab Radwan, Mohamed Sobhi, Hani Abdel Hadi” in weightlifting, as well as Mohamed El-Zayat in paratikondo.

For her part, Dr. Hayat Khattab stressed that celebrating the heroes who raised the Egyptian world in Japan is important, and we hope to continue the victories and achievements during the coming period.

Egypt participated in the Paralympic Games with 49 male and female players, with 8 games: weightlifting, sit-ups, parataekwondo, women’s goal ball, athletics, swimming, badminton and table tennis.
