OneWeb launches satellites to publish a global internet service


Moscow (Reuters) – She said British One Web Company Today, Wednesday, it launched 34 satellites into orbit around the Earth from the space launch base in Kazakhstan, bringing the total of its operating satellites in orbit to 322.
The company plans to launch a total of 648 satellites into low Earth orbit to spread a global fast internet service that reaches the farthest corners of the world.
With the launch of the satellites, carried out by Arianespace, OneWeb continues to commit to its program to start service in sectors of the Northern Hemisphere this year and provide global service next year.
The company resumed launching satellites in December after emerging from bankruptcy protection with $1 billion investment from the British government and India’s Bharti Enterprises.
The company obtained another financing from the Indian company and from two companies Eutelsat Communications and SoftBank of Japan.
