A study monitors an increase in the incidence of colon cancer in the Kingdom, and a researcher explains the reasons A recent Saudi study monitored a significant increase in the incidence of colon cancer among people under 50 years of age in the Kingdom.

The study, which took place from 2001 to 2016, recommended the necessity of early examination of this disease, so as to benefit from the high rates of cure from it.

One of the participants in the research, Dr. Kanaan Al-Shammari, in an interview with Al-Ekhbariya channel, attributed the reasons for the high rates of colon cancer to the increase in obesity rates and the age of citizens, and the increase in diagnosis and treatment meals Fast and lack of exercise.
