Gonzalo Higuain did not hide his club Inter Miami’s desire to sign Lionel Messi in the future, but indicated that he would most likely not share the dressing room at the American club.
The owners of Inter Miami had earlier announced their desire to obtain the signature of the flea, while Messi himself confirmed that he wanted to conclude his football career in the United States and live there.
The Argentine international is now tied to a valid contract with Paris Saint-Germain for two years with the possibility of renewing for another year, and Inter Miami is just waiting for the signal to pounce on him.
This is evidenced by Higuain’s speech, who said in this regard: “Messi rumors? I don’t want to get into trouble, I don’t know anything about Leo at Inter Miami.”
He added, “Messi signed a two-year contract with Paris, our club wants to sign him, we’ll see what happens.”
At the same time, if Messi moved to Inter Miami after two years, he would not be with Higuain, as the Argentine striker confirmed that he would be out of action for an unknown period after next year.
Higuain continued, “I have one year left on my contract with Inter Miami, and after the end of the contract I will have a vacation and a break from football and everything.”
“I am now in another stage of my life, my priority is family, and I will not change the opportunity to see my daughter smile for anything in the world.”
It is worth noting that the 33-year-old Higuain moved to Miami for free at the end of his contract with Juventus, and participated in their shirt in 29 games, scoring only 10 goals so far.
