In an event that has never happened before, Christie’s announced the launch of an auction to sell two distinctive bracelets of the famous French queen Marie Antoinette On 9 November in Geneva.
“These two bracelets are distinguished not only by their origin, but also by how they were made, as they are set with a total of 112 old-cut diamonds, varying in size, the smallest of which is approximately one carat and exceeds the largest in the center,” Christie’s jewelry specialist Marie-Cecile Sisamolo told AFP. They are expected to fetch two billion and four million dollars, and the bracelets offered by Christie’s for sale each consist of three rows of diamonds. The two bracelets can also be combined as a necklace.
