Today, Wednesday, English Liverpool achieved a difficult victory over AC Milan, with three goals against two, in the first round of the second group competition in the European Champions League.
Liverpool opened the scoring through defender Fukayo Tomori (an own goal) in the 9th minute, and in the 14th minute Mohamed Salah missed a penalty kick.
Milan turned the table on Liverpool before the end of the first half, as Ante Rebic scored the equalizer in the 42nd minute, and Ibrahim Diaz added the second goal in the 44th minute.

Liverpool equalized at the beginning of the second half through Mohamed Salah in the 48th minute, and in the 69th minute Jordan Henderson scored the winning goal.
In another match, within the same group competition, a goalless draw was held over the meeting of Atletico Madrid of Spain and Porto of Portugal.
Liverpool raised its score to 3 points at the top of the group, and Atletico Madrid came in second with one point, and Porto was behind with a point as well, and Milan was bottom of the standings.
