Today, Wednesday, the young Frenchman, Eduardo Camavinga, signed a contract with Real Madrid, which will extend to 6 seasons.

Camavinga, from France’s Stade Rennes, will have a contract until June 30, 2027.

Camavinga took pictures with club president Florentino Perez after signing the contract, and then appeared in front of the cameras with the shirt he would wear in the ranks of Real, which bears the number 25.

The 18-year-old Frenchman passed the medical examination, and participated in part of the team’s physical training, which was welcomed by his new colleagues.

Camavinga said in the press conference that he is ready to play for Real in the team’s next match against Celta Vigo, next Sunday.

“I’m a young player and maybe I need some time to adapt, maybe not, I feel ready.”

He added, “I came to learn. Then I will have to prove to the coach that I am ready, work hard and try to get minutes.”

Camavinga had arrived in Madrid after playing two matches for the France under-21 team, against North Macedonia and the Faroe Islands.
