Al-Ahly’s hand mission conducts a swab of return to Cairo before facing the cup semi-finals


Tariq Mahrous, the technical director of the Al-Ahly club handball team, revealed that the mission was subject to a smear to detect the Corona virus, to return to Cairo this afternoon, before facing the semi-finals of the African Cup Winners’ Cup in Morocco.

Today, Wednesday, 5:30 pm, the Al-Ahly club’s men’s handball team collides with its Angolan counterpart, Inter Club, in the semi-finals of the African Cup Winners’ Cup, after the latter’s victory over Cameroon’s Fab in the quarter-final 31/29.

The men’s handball team in Al-Ahly Club, led by its technical director, Tariq Mahrous, defeated the Senegalese team with a score of 49/22, in the quarter-finals to qualify for the semi-finals.

Al-Ahly club’s men’s handball team succeeded in achieving the full mark in the group stage by defeating its Cameroonian counterpart, FAP, 48/23, in its third confrontation in the African Club Championship.

Al-Ahly team snatched the first victory, 46/26, over Rima, the Niger, in the kickoff of the competition, before defeating Red Star, the Ivorian, 45/26.

The delegation of Yad Al-Ahly’s men includes: Yasser Al-Ramli, head of the apparatus, Tariq Mahrous, technical director, Hani Al-Najdi, team manager, Mohamed Adel, general coach, Mohamed Mostafa, goalkeeper coach, Ahmed Al-Qat, technical analyst, and Tamer Manisi, a load planner, friendship.
