A workshop to improve the passenger experience at Saudi airports

Yesterday, the General Authority of Civil Aviation, represented by the General Administration of Quality and Passenger Protection, held a periodic workshop on improving the passenger experience at Saudi airports, at Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.The workshop aimed to share the authority’s orientations in improving the passengers’ experience, exchanging experiences between all parties, and unifying efforts to reach a common goal, which is to improve the passengers’ experience at the Kingdom’s airports.

The workshop discussed the comprehensive evaluation program for the quality of airport services, performance standards and indicators, the impact of the Corona pandemic on waiting times for the passenger experience and the number of passengers, in addition to discussing passenger complaints against operators, national carriers and airports, and ways to improve them.

The workshop dealt with the most prominent challenges facing travelers with disabilities and those with limited mobility, which contributes to addressing the shortcomings in travel procedures for persons with disabilities and improving their experience at all stages of travel.

The workshop was attended by a number of representatives of national carriers and the Saudi Ground Services Company, in addition to representatives from the employees of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, and Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
