The Egyptian Ministry of Health: 350 thousand messages to citizens to receive the Corona vaccine within 24 hours

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Minister of Health, Hala Zayed, announced that 14,000 citizens have been vaccinated with the Corona virus, since this morning, Thursday, the beginning of work in the vaccination centers, until this afternoon.

And Hala Zayed explained, in a statement issued today, Thursday, that 350,000 messages were sent today to citizens to go to vaccination centers at the level of the Republic, coinciding with Egypt receiving shipments of various Corona virus vaccines.

Hala Zayed directed the intensification of sending text messages regarding the dates of citizens receiving the Corona virus vaccine.

The minister also called for the launch of fixed convoy cars in the main workplaces in factories, banks, government offices, schools and universities, at the level of the Republic, in addition to all industrial areas in the governorates of Matrouh, Suez and Port Said, and work sites in national projects in El Alamein and the New Administrative Capital, in order to register workers in those places on The website for receiving and vaccinating them with the Corona virus vaccine for free.

Zayed appealed to the elderly citizens to go to those convoys to register and receive the vaccine, after the noon period, which witnesses high temperatures, to facilitate them, as the fixed convoys continue to work until eight o’clock in the evening.

In the same context, she directed Zayed to continue registering through the ministry’s website (http://www.egcovac.mohp.gov.eg/) to receive the new Corona virus vaccine, for Egyptians and non-Egyptians residing on the land of Egypt, free of charge, through the vaccination centers. Which reached 539 centers distributed over the governorates of the Republic.

And she continued: “And also through 126 centers for the vaccination of travelers and the issuance of documented certificates for those vaccinated, which are insured from the complex of smart insured publications, which are used for travel and other purposes.”

She explained that the administrative expenses for obtaining certificates for those wishing to travel abroad are 250 pounds for Egyptians, 10 dollars for non-Egyptians, and 100 pounds for administrative expenses for citizens wishing to obtain local certificates to present them in various authorities that require them inside Egypt.
