The artist Khaled Al-Nabawy expressed his wish that the Arab nation would support the Lebanese in their plight, as a result of the explosion of a fuel tanker in Akkar, northern Lebanon, and the occurrence of a number of martyrs and injured.
Al-Nabawi wrote, through his official account on Twitter: “Our hearts are with the beloved Lebanon in their painful affliction.. God have mercy on the victims and protect the family and loved ones.”
He added: “Oh Lord, get Lebanon out of this distress, and I hope that the Arab nation will support the Lebanese in their plight.”
The Lebanese Red Cross announced that 20 people were killed and 79 wounded, as a result of the explosion of a fuel tanker in Akkar, and the process of surveying the area of the explosion continues in Akkar, northern Lebanon.
The explosion came at a time when Lebanon has been suffering from a shortage of fuel for weeks, which negatively affects the ability of public utilities, private institutions, and even hospitals to provide their services.
