Today, Sunday, the Competitions Committee of the Saudi Professional League announced the schedule of matches for the first round of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Cup for Saudi Professionals, whose start date has been advanced to August 11.

The new season of the Saudi League was supposed to start on the 12th of August, but the date was brought forward by 24 hours, and on August 11th, one match will be held between Al-Fayha and Al-Ittihad in Al-Majma`ah.

The Competitions Committee set the dates for all matches of the first 13 rounds of the schedule, while postponing the adoption of the dates for the 14th and 15th rounds until the issuance of the schedule of matches for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup for the 2021-2022 season.

The committee clarified in its official statement that the matches of Al Hilal and Al Nasr in the eighth round will be postponed to a later date if one or both of them qualify for the eighth round of the AFC Champions League, and if one of them qualifies for the final match, his match in the 12th round will be postponed to a date to be determined later.

The Jeddah derby will be played on October 1 in the seventh round, while the Riyadh derby between Al Hilal and Al Nasr will be held on Sunday October 17 in the eighth round.
