We will not rest until terrorism is uprooted

Today, Monday, Iraqi President Barham Salih pledged to “uproot hateful and cowardly terrorism from its roots,” commenting on the explosion that shook a popular market in Sadr City in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, killing 30 people and wounding 60 others.
Saleh said: “In a heinous crime and cruelty that is less than equal, they target our civilians in Sadr City on the eve of the Eid. They do not accept the people to rest for even a moment with security and joy.”
He added, “We will not be calm unless we uproot the hateful and cowardly terrorism, and it is certain that the will of the Iraqis is against their criminality and their villainy. Mercy is for the martyrs, and healing for the wounded.”
