Washington raises travel alert level for Israel

Khabarni – The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention raised the alert level for travel to Israel and the Palestinian territories, after the increasing number of corona infections there.

The centers expressed concern about the increasing number of coronavirus infections in Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and decided to raise the warning level for travel to those areas by two levels to “level three – high.”

This level comes before the highest levels of travel warnings in the American centers, according to which travelers who have not received the vaccination are advised to avoid non-essential travel to the concerned country.

In addition to the Palestinian territories, the centers also warned against traveling to Spain, Portugal, Cuba, Cyprus and Kyrgyzstan due to the high number of infected people.
