Use WhatsApp across multiple devices simultaneously

WhatsApp started posting Multi Device Feature Which allows you to use the same account across multiple devices from a web browser or computer application without the need to have your smartphone.

The user can access the service across multiple devices simultaneously.

WhatsApp multi-device feature

allow You have the advantage by using WhatsApp via the web or computers running both operating systems macOS or Windows or even the mobile version of the app across up to four additional devices without having to keep logging in with your smartphone.

It is related to connecting many devices such as a PC or tablet to a WhatsApp account. The only difference is that your sessions will not expire if you turn off your smartphone or close the app.

This feature can come in handy if the phone battery is dead or if you have inadvertently closed the app.

Notes about the multi-device feature

If you don’t see Connected Devices in the app, your account doesn’t offer this feature yet.

To access the feature, the application must be updated to the latest version Note that the multi-device feature works in the same way as connecting to the web version via a PC or tablet.

The main difference is that you don’t need to keep using your smartphone in order to continue using WhatsApp across your other devices.

This reverses the previous method in which your communication sessions with the version of WhatsApp via the web or the computer application end as soon as you log out or close the application on your phone.

In addition, each of the devices connected to your account has its own identification key. Thus it is able to encrypt and decrypt messages locally Without having to rely on the smartphone to which the account is linked.

The same applies to voice and video calls that can work without being connected to the user’s smartphone.

The platform ensures that messages remain synchronized between devices. This allows you to browse the chat history even if the smartphone is no longer.

For additional protection, you should use the WhatsApp application via smartphone at least once every 14 days to ensure that your account always has access to your smartphone. Failure to do so will close active sessions across connected devices.
