This came during the visit of the World Health Organization delegation, which began the day before yesterday, to assess the Sharjah file within the Healthy Cities Program, and through it, residents will be briefed on the various files and axes to ensure the achievement of the set goals, which urge continuing to work to spread the culture of healthy cities and achieve the highest levels of quality of life for the residents of the Emirate of Sharjah. Dr. Abdulaziz Al Muhairi said that the Executive Committee of the program had previously launched the “Sharjah is a healthy city” document as an application tool to confirm the institutions’ adoption of the nine standards for healthy cities, which were accepted and cooperated by all institutions and authorities in the emirate.
