Dusan Tadic decided his position on the Italian football club Milan’s attempts to include him, as he cut the way for the ancient Italian club by signing a new contract with his Dutch club Ajax for a period of three years.
Some reports indicated that Ajax captain Tadic was close to moving to Milan, which returned to the Champions League next season 2021/22, after he finished last season in second place in the Italian League.
But the 32-year-old Tadic chose to stay in Amsterdam, and today, Friday, signed a new contract with Ajax until June 2024, so that the player extended his old contract with the team for one year, and the old contract was scheduled to extend until the end of the 2022/2023 season.
Tadic moved to Ajax in 2018 from Southampton, and played a prominent role in the team reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League in the same season.
Marc Overmars, Ajax’s director of football, said in statements on the club’s official website: “It is no secret that Duchamp has played a very important role in the team on and off the field.
