For its part, the Syrian Observatory stated that “the Israeli strikes targeted military sites belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah in the area of ​​Al-Dabaa Military Airport and Al-Qusayr” in the western countryside of Homs. Yesterday, Thursday, the Israeli strikes, according to the observatory, resulted in the destruction of weapons and ammunition depots in the targeted locations. These Israeli strikes are the second this week, as at least five pro-Iranian fighters were killed on Monday in Israeli shelling that targeted their positions in the northern Aleppo governorate, according to the observatory. And the Syrian official media had reported that the Syrian air defenses had confronted Israeli missiles over the eastern countryside of Aleppo and “downed most of them.”

Meanwhile, Lebanese media reported that an Israeli missile fell at night in the town of Lehfed in the middle Jbeil region, and according to information, it weighed 250 kg and the Syrian air defenses changed its course. The National News Agency stated that the missile caused a huge crater and caused the glass of some houses to fall. Residents confirmed that they saw a strong flash of light in the area. A Lebanese military force came to the scene and began its investigations. The mayor, Najat Al-Zoghbi, explained that the sound of the explosion and the collapse of the windows of the buildings caused a state of panic among the residents, and she spoke about finding the remains of missile shrapnel near the river. The shrapnel of an Israeli missile fell in the town of Al-Majdal in Koura, after it had been intercepted by Syrian air defenses.

On the other hand, the observatory stated that seven people were killed yesterday morning, Thursday, in artillery shelling on the village of Iblin in the Jabal al-Zawiya area in the southern countryside of Idlib, noting that the death toll is likely to rise because of the wounded, some of whom are in serious condition.
