Kais SaiedTunisian President Kais Saied issued a decision freezing the powers of the House of Representatives, lifting the immunity of all members, and relieving Prime Minister Hisham Al-Mashishi from his post.

Saeed announced his assumption of the executive authority with the help of a government whose president is appointed. He also assumed the presidency of the Public Prosecution Office to find out all the files and crimes committed against the country.

He warned everyone against insulting the state and its symbols, after an emergency meeting with security and military leaders, stressing that whoever shoots a single bullet will be fired by the army with a hail of bullets.
