News 24 | “Meteorology”: August is the hottest month of summer this year… and the rains begin to recede today

A spokesman for the National Center of Meteorology, Hussein Al-Qahtani, expected that the month of August will be the hottest month this year in terms of temperature rates in the Kingdom.

Al-Qahtani said, in an intervention with Al-Ikhbariya channel, that the temperatures will return to their rates after the end of the current rain wave, indicating that this situation will begin to decline gradually today (Friday).

He pointed out that the humidity is concentrated on the eastern coasts and Makkah, and decreases on the highlands and inland areas such as Najran and Riyadh.
