Kuwait praised what Saudi Arabia achieved during the recently ended Hajj season.
The Kuwaiti Cabinet, during its meeting yesterday, thanked King Salman and the Saudi government for what was accomplished during the days of the Hajj season, according to the statement. Kuwait Newspaper.
Kuwaiti Prime Minister Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah spoke about the care that pilgrims received under difficult circumstances imposed by the Corona pandemic on everyone.
Saudi Arabia concluded this year’s Hajj season, which was organized with the participation of a limited number of pilgrims, amounting to only 60,000 pilgrims who are inside the Kingdom, amid strict health controls to avoid the repercussions of Corona.
And last year witnessed an exceptional Hajj season due to the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, as the number of pilgrims was limited to about 10,000 pilgrims from within the Kingdom only, compared to about 2.5 million pilgrims, who came from all over the world, in 2019.
