Consultant warns of a “common mistake” for patients with pressure

Cardiologist Dr. Saleh Salem Al-Ghamdi warned of a common mistake among patients with high blood pressure.

Al-Ghamdi said, in a tweet through his official account on the social networking site “Twitter”, that it is a common mistake among patients with pressure, to be satisfied with using blood pressure medications without measuring it periodically (five consecutive days every month), to know the result of these drugs and their success or not.

He pointed out that the pressure of 160/90 during the use of medications does not often cause symptoms, but it is never acceptable, warning that complications may occur with it at some stage.
