The Command and Control Center of the Operations Department in the Central Operations Sector of Abu Dhabi Police received 38,000 calls during the Eid Al-Adha holiday through the emergency number 999 at the level of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi / Abu Dhabi – Al Ain – Al Dhafra/.
Brigadier Nasser Suleiman Al Maskari, Director of Operations Department, explained that most of the calls are for traffic accidents, ranging from minor traffic jams, or some simple emergency cases.
He pointed out that Abu Dhabi Police provided the best equipment, technologies and qualified human cadres in the “command and control centers” in the emirate as part of its strategy to provide the best services to the public in accordance with the best international practices in this field.
He urged the public to communicate with the Central Operations Room to report incidents that they encounter at all times, noting that Operations Department cadres work 24 hours a day, seven days a week and on various occasions and national and religious holidays.
