A channel affiliated with the Iranian Guard expressed fears that an Iranian oil tanker might be targeted by an Israeli while transporting oil to Lebanon.

Russia Today reported, citing a channel affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, that there are fears that the Iranian oil tanker “JASMINE” may be targeted by an Israeli.

The channel reported on Telegram that some Hebrew sources stated that there is a possibility that the tanker near the Suez Canal will be subjected to a sabotage attack while transporting oil to Lebanon, after targeting an Israeli ship that was heading to the UAE yesterday. The channel did not specify whether the Hebrew sources authorized it, or to another party.

Yesterday, Hebrew media reported that Israeli military officials were trying to ascertain whether Iranian forces had attacked an Israeli-owned cargo ship on Saturday on its journey from Jeddah to the UAE.
