The Saudi Ministry of Interior said, in a press statement, that the Egyptian, Walid Al-Zuhairi, had killed the first soldier in the security patrols in Jeddah, Hadi bin Misfer Al-Qahtani, on the twelfth of last November.
The statement explained that the killer took advantage of the soldier’s presence in a gas station chapel, and stabbed him several times while the victim was performing the prayer, according to the statement.
The statement added that investigations proved that al-Zuhairi had embraced the ideology of ISIS.

He pointed out that the execution of the offender, Walid Al-Zuhairi, was based on the level of harass that was issued against him as a result of killing a citizen, and “corrupting him on earth.”
Amnesty International had said that the Saudi authorities carried out 27 executions in 2020, and 184 in 2019.
