The English Football League announced, on Tuesday, its nominations for the awards last season, after its competitions officially ended several days ago.
The nominations saw the Egyptian Mohamed Salah lead, and his nomination for more than one award, after his distinguished performance with Liverpool for this season 2020-2021.
The Egyptian striker was among the candidates for the award for the best player in the competition last season.
As for the prizes for the best goal of the season, Salah appeared with his goal against West Ham last January, when he received a long ball and put it brilliantly in Fabianski’s goal.
Salah competes for this award with the goals of James Madison against Manchester City, Manuel Lanzini against Tottenham, Sebastian Hallar against Crystal Palace, and Bruno Fernandes against Everton.
In addition to Jesse Lingard’s goal against Wolverhampton, Eric Lamela against Arsenal, and Edinson Cavani against Fulham.
