America’s goalkeeper, Ethan Horvath, led his country to the title of the “CONCACAF” Nations League title, at the expense of his Mexican counterpart, by defeating him (3-2) in the final match that brought them together today, Monday.
Ethan Horvath saved Uncle Sam’s team from defeat in the deadly time, in the second minute, calculated instead of lost time for the original time of the match, when the result indicated a draw (2-2), by brilliantly blocking a ball with a missile shot by a Mexican player from inside the penalty area.
And then the 25-year-old goalkeeper saved a penalty kick at the fatal time as well, in the last minute of the second overtime period, to save his team from the equalizer, and thus resorting to “lucky” penalty kicks.
