The commando defeated the Comoros by five to one goal

The Palestinian national team succeeded in securing its seat in the 21st Arab Cup, after winning against Comoros by five against a single goal, at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Club, in the Qatari capital, “Doha”.

What happened in the match?

Comoros scored their only goal early after just five minutes of the match, with a shot from Moussa Gomoi from inside the penalty area.

After 20 minutes, the referee of the meeting indicated a penalty kick for Comoros, after Mahmoud Abu Warda was blocked; Palestine player, to Musa Jomoi, but by referring to video technology, the referee reversed his decision.

Al-Feday returned the match to the equalizing point in the 35th minute, after the opponent’s goalkeeper saved a close header, but it rebounded to Laith Kharoub, to put it in the net easily.

With great individual skill, Uday Al-Dabbagh added the second goal of Al-Fedayi three minutes before the end of the first half.

With the beginning of the second half, the Palestinian team consolidated its lead by scoring the third goal through the header of Tamer Siam, who also added the fourth goal.

Islam Al-Batran also made his mark in the match in the 81st minute, scoring the fifth goal, after evading the defenses of Comoros.

In which group is Palestine located?

This victory took the guerrilla to the finals of the tournament, which came back to life again, but in a different way, as the International Federation of Football Associations “FIFA” recognized it as an official tournament approved.

Palestine is in Group C, along with Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, as it opens its campaign on the first of next December by meeting the Atlas Lions, then Al-Akhdar on the 4th, and then Al-Nashami on the seventh of the same month.

One set not completed:

Only one match remains in the qualifiers, between Bahrain and Kuwait, to complete the contract of the first group, which includes Qatar, Iraq and Oman.

The second group includes: Tunisia, the Emirates, Syria and Mauritania, and the fourth group includes Egypt, Algeria, Lebanon and Sudan.
