Uruguay tied 0-0 against its host Venezuela, in the sixth round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
With this tie, Uruguay’s balance is 8 points in fourth place, while Venezuela’s balance is 4 points in ninth place.
Chile also tied 1-1 with its host Bolivia, where Eric Polgar scored Chile’s goal in the 69th minute, while Marcelo Moreno scored the equalizer for Bolivia in the 80th minute, to remain at the top of the scorers’ standings with 6 goals, one ahead of Brazilian star Neymar.
With this tie, Chile has 6 points in seventh place, compared to 5 points for Bolivia in eighth place.
Peru won its first victory in the qualifiers and beat Ecuador, 2-1.
Peru advanced with a first goal in the 62nd minute through Christian Cuevas, then Luis Adbenkola added the second goal in the 89th minute, before Gonzalo Plata scored the goal to reduce the difference for Ecuador in the 90th minute.
Peru’s balance became 4 points in tenth place, while Ecuador’s balance remained with 9 points in third place.
