Khaled El-Anany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, said that Alexandria is one of the governorates that has witnessed millions of pounds being pumped to support the tourism sector, stressing that the road network supports the tourism sector, which has reached 7,000 kilowatts of roads, and therefore internal roads must be worked.

The Minister of Tourism indicated during his speech today, at a symposium of the Future of a Homeland Party, that the ministry provides workers to conduct excavations to ensure that the land has no traces, and then procedures for exhuming the land are carried out.

Regarding the establishment of new museums in Egypt, El-Anany said: “No new museums will be opened until after the renovations of the current museums,” stressing that the Egyptian government has full controls regarding the Hajj season, and all necessary meetings and arrangements have been made, but this all depends on Saudi Arabia’s announcement and notification. Egypt is in the Hajj season, which has not happened yet, saying: “When Saudi Arabia announces its position regarding the Hajj season, Egypt will announce all its measures regarding the season.”
